Can You Guess Which MCU Role Esposito Is Playing in ‘Captain America 4’ Based on This Hilarious Drawing?
Recently Giancarlo Esposito made headlines when he claimed that he would like to appear as Professor X in the MCU, but without the wheelchair, as he isn’t that old. Fans were divided on the matter since some still harbor hope that Patrick Stewart will be the MCU’s primary Charles Xavier despite him being killed during the events of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’
Then during a panel on Thunder Stage at CCXP Esposito confirmed that he will be appearing in the Marvel project, but also made it clear it’s not as Professor X.
Yesterday, news broke that Esposito will be playing a character in ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ and that he will be a villain, this is where confirmed stuff ends and speculations begin.
Esposito was naturally secretive about the role, the only thing ‘The Mandalorian’ actor revealed was that it’s a “New” character, meaning that it can both be new to the MCU and original character based on how you want to interpret it. Esposito also mentioned how the character will get a standalone Disney+ series.
Now fans have been trying to figure out which role Esposito will play for quite some time now, and some have definitely been ruled out like Doctor Doom, Professor X, Dario Agger, and Count Nefaria while some are still being considered.
Recently, Atlanta Filming, reputable industry insiders shared a drawing of what appears to be Esposito’s character from the set of ‘Brave New World.’ The drawing appears to be rudimental and funny, but it gives enough hints and specific markings that we should be able to decipher who the character is based on physical characteristics. But, it’s not so easy as the fandom has been trying for a while now and come up short. You can see the drawing below:

The leaker also shared several hints and descriptions of a character in order to make this highly entertaining guessing game easier.
The character is described as having bluish hair and wearing a black capish coat with brown lining, along with sunglasses and boots. They are armed with three guns, three knives, and an axe. This character is an antagonistic agent of chaos, designed to be comic-accurate based on research but not strictly following a single comic source. They are not Magneto, Doctor Doom, Norman Osborn, Dario Agger, or Count Nefaria. The role is intended to be unexpected, with the character being teased before their full reveal and followed by their own series.
