Deborah Ann Woll and Charlie Cox Reunite in New ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 Behind-the-Scenes Photos

Marvel fans have been treated to new glimpses of Deborah Ann Woll returning as Karen Page in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Recent leaked photos from the set show moments that have sparked talk of a possible romance rekindling between Karen and Matt Murdock, especially one image where they are seen holding hands.

The first episode of first season surprised many by killing off Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, Matt’s close friend and a favorite character played by Elden Henson. Following this, Karen moves to San Francisco and cuts off contact with Matt, leaving fans wondering about her role since she was absent from the second episode.

Showrunner Dario Scardapane responded to concerns about Karen’s involvement, rejecting the idea that her part is minor. He teased that more surprises involving her character are coming, saying, “There are returns that I think are surprising and inevitable.”

Season 2’s production has seen some changes behind the scenes. Directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who are also executive producers with Scardapane, are returning. The season will be shorter, with only eight episodes, and production is reportedly smoother than before.

New directors Solvan Naim, Iain B. MacDonald, and Angela Barnes—known for her work on Ironheart—have also joined the project.

Filming began in late February 2025 under the working title Out the Kitchen 2. Locations have included Brooklyn and Manhattan, with Charlie Cox spotted in his Daredevil costume on set. Other cast members like Wilson Bethel have also been filming scenes.

The new season is expected to launch in March 2026 as part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With just eight episodes planned, fans are eager to see how the story unfolds, especially regarding Karen and Matt’s relationship after the dramatic events early in the season.
