Sydney Sweeney marked Scooter Braun’s 45th birthday with a series of personal and emotional messages shared on Instagram Stories on Thursday, June 18. The posts offered a rare public glimpse into their relationship and showed a more affectionate side of the couple.
Sweeney, 28, posted two separate images featuring Braun. In the first, she shared a photo of herself kissing him on the cheek, overlaid with a birthday message. She wrote: “Happiest of birthdays to the man with the biggest heart I know❤️.”
The second post showed the couple dancing together on a basketball court while wearing matching jerseys. In that image, Sweeney added a longer message reflecting on their time together. She wrote: “Thank you for all the living room dances and making me smile again. A good man is rare. A man like you is once in a lifetime.”
The birthday tribute comes as the couple continues to make their relationship more visible in public. Their romance first became the subject of media attention in 2025, and PEOPLE later confirmed that they were dating. At the time, sources described the relationship as casual in the beginning, with both still getting to know each other.
One insider told PEOPLE early on: “Everything is casual. She is living her life and working hard.”
However, by the end of 2025, reports suggested the relationship had become more serious. Sources close to the couple said they were growing closer and more committed to each other. One report stated that: “Scooter and Sydney are going strong and things between them are great. They’re in a committed relationship and things are serious.”
Over time, the couple began sharing more moments together on social media. In 2026, they became more open about their relationship, including public posts and appearances that confirmed their status.
In April, Braun made their relationship Instagram official by posting a black-and-white photo of the two together and captioning it: “lucky bastard.” That post marked one of the first direct confirmations of their romance on social media.
Sweeney also later shared her own photos from a music festival weekend at Stagecoach in California. The images included candid moments of the couple together, including Braun holding her close in front of a crowd and playful photo booth pictures. She captioned the post: “cowboy kind of weekend 🤍.”
According to PEOPLE, sources close to Braun have said he has not been bothered by public attention or online discussion about the relationship. One insider explained: “He finds the headlines comical. He seems to be unfazed, as he finds them all very funny.”
The same source added that both Sweeney and Braun feel secure in their relationship. They reportedly remain confident and comfortable with each other, with no major issues affecting their connection.
