Is Chloe Bennet’s Quake in ‘Secret Invasion’? Here’s What We Know

MCU show Agents of Shield left us with plenty of memorable characters, and of them is Daisy Johnson, aka Quake. Even though the show was canceled, fans have been hoping that some characters would appear in subsequent MCU projects. One of those fan-favorite characters is Quake, and after the release of the trailer for an upcoming Secret Invasion series, fans notice that Quake is missing from the picture. Having said that, is Chloe Bennet’s Quake in Secret Invasion? 

There are no indications that Chloe Bennet will appear in Secret Invasion as Quake. She is not listed as a part of the main or supporting cast, and even the actress herself stated in numerous interviews that she is not involved with Secret Invasion by any means. We can’t be sure until Secret Invasion starts airing, but so far, it doesn’t look like Quake will be a part of it. 

So far, the news seems grim for fans of Daisy Johnson. Still, there is hope until the series releases. Let’s see why Quake would be a perfect addition to the upcoming Secret Invasion. 

What happened to Quake after Agents of Shields? 

At the time that the long-running Marvel show Agents of Shields was ending, Quake was in a deep space expedition on Zephyr Three accompanied by Daniel Sousa, her romantic interest, and Kora. So it’s safe the say that her schedule was busy with everything taken into account.

Fans were hoping that their favorite Inhuman from the series would join the cast of Marvel’s upcoming Secret Invasion series. A series based on one of the most popular storylines in Marvel Comics. Secret Invasion has Skrulls at its center, and the story was heavily hinted at back in the post-credit scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home when it was revealed that Nick Fury and Maria Hill in that whole movie were actually Talos and his wife Soren. 

What are the chances of Chloe Bennet’s Quake being in the upcoming Secret Invasion? 

Quake would make a perfect addition to the Secret Invasion story considering that she was part of it in the comics. In the comics, Daisy collaborated with Nick Fury. She adopted the name Quake and was tasked with gathering the descendants of various heroes and villains to help fight against Skrulls and the upcoming Invasion. During the Skrull Invasion of Manhattan, she was seen fighting alongside her fellow team members. Their efforts eventually played a significant role in repelling the danger that Skrull posed on Earth. 

Having said that, with the release of the trailer, Quake was nowhere to be seen, which left fans disheartened. According to several interviews, Chole Bennet came out to say she is not involved in any future Marvel Projects, which likely goes for Secret Invasion too. In a viral video posted back in 2021, the actress stated

 ” I am in no way attached or involved, even at all or a little bit, in the Secret Invasion Marvel thing. I honestly don’t even know really what that is.“

At the time, this was probably true, but who knows what happened in the meantime. Still, with everything considered, and the lack of Quake in the trailer, we can probably assume that she was telling the truth and that Quake won’t be appearing in the upcoming series. 

Secret Invasion will be available for streaming on June 21, 2023, on Disney+, and the series will consist of six episodes in total.
