Secret Invasion

Secret Invasion was a Marvel Comics crossover event storyline involving a long-term Earth infiltration by the alien shape-shifting race known as the Skrulls. The Skrulls, who can assume the form of any person, including superheroes, have secretly replaced individuals on Earth for years. Their ultimate goal is to take over the planet. The storyline was first introduced in 2008 and significantly impacted the Marvel Universe, including revealing that several major superheroes were actually Skrull imposters.  The series following the original storyline is set to be released on Disney+ in 2023
