Netflix’s Live-Action ‘One Piece’ Finds Its Tashigi

Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece has been a smash hit and fans around the world cannot wait for the second season to start. And while the future of the series is quite certain, information about the cast members are still scarce as the production is keeping things under tight wraps.

Still, we can now confirm that the series has found a new cast member who will join the series as Tashigi, one of the series’ most important swordsmen (or women!), and a character with a close tie to Zoro’s story.

Tashigi is a character who was introduced relatively early in the story. She was poised as a rival to Zoro, although she was unable to match his skills. Still, the dynamic between the two – seeing how they’re on opposite sides – was true gold and they are among the best and most charismatic duos in the story.

Now that Tashigi is coming to the live-action version, we can look forward to even more such moments on the screen. So, who is playing her?

It’s Julia Rehwald! You might know the young actress from Netflix’s Fear Street and we are absolutely certain that she will bring a lot to the series and that she will be a perfect Tashigi in the live-action story.
