Marvel Reveals First Look at ‘Doctor Strange of Asgard’ #5

Marvel’s major One World Under Doom storyline is one of the biggest events we’ve had in years. As Doctor Doom tries to take over the world once again, the consequences are felt throughout Marvel’s universe.

This is why there are so many crossover stories present and why so many individual titles are published under the “One World Under Doom” banner. Recently, Marvel has provided us with a first look at several of these issues.

One of them is Doctor Strange of Asgard #5, which we are going to talk about in this report.

Written by Derek Landy with art by Carlos Magno, Doctor Strange of Asgard #5 won’t be out before July 9, 2025, but Marvel has provided us with a solid insight into what we can expect of the story.

In terms of the plot, we know that Hulda’s murder will once again be in the center, as the official synopsis reveals the following:

WHO WILL BECOME ASGARD’S SORCERER SUPREME? Doctor Strange finally uncovers the truth behind Hulda’s murder — but the true murderer may be closer than he thinks! A final confrontation leads to a magical showdown that will change the future of Asgard…

This story and Strange’s new status will definitely be an important plot element in the endeavor to foil Doom’s plans, but it’s still very early so we’ll have to see how Marvel is going to connect all the dots.
