‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the hottest upcoming release. Partly due to being Deadpool’s first foray into the MCU and partly due to the movie being incredibly hyped due to the potential presence of mutants from Fox’s X-Men franchise and other forgotten characters. Now the fans are excited for any project that could potentially feature X-Men since those characters are some of the most beloved in the comics history. Since the movie will introduce the largest quantity of mutants to the MCU so far, we decided to take a look at the confirmed mutants we already have.

1. Kamala Khan – Ms. Marvel (Debut: Ms. Marvel)

Now Kamala Khan was never a mutant in the comics she was always inhuman but during her debut in the MCU, it was confirmed that her powers came from genetic mutations. Since then, she was rewritten as a mutant in the comics as well.

2. El Aguila & Mr. Immortal (Debut: ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’)

El Aguila and Mr. Immortal were introduced during ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.’ Even though the show was abysmally received it’s still an important part of MCU lore due to the fact that they’ve sneakily introduced two more mutants. Both El Aguila and Mr. Immortal are mutants in the comics, with electricity powers and retroactive immortality respectively. It’s important to note that Mr. Immortal is not exactly a mutant, he is Homo Supreme (a step above mutant) but to the fact that he identifies as mutant he was put on this list.

3. Namor (Debut: ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’)

Namor is first and foremost Talokanil and he owes the majority of his powers and abilities to his aquatic origins. However, he was born with a mutation that manifested as wings on his ankles, pointy ears, and an extended lifespan. Namor is a mutant in the comics as well.

4. Professor X (Debut: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness)

The Professor X we’ve seen in the movie is a variant, but doesn’t make him any less of a mutant. His cameo in the movie was more fan service than anything still it’s nice to have such a strong mutant presence in the MCU lore already. We would have loved to see him in the projects going forward, unfortunately, this variant was killed by the Scarlet Witch.

5. Beast (Debut: ‘The Marvels’)

Hank McCoy aka Beast is the latest mutant added to the MCU as he debuted in the ‘The Marvels’ mid-credits scenes. Considering that he was in the same scene as Monica Rambeau and her mother from this reality, Binary, it’s safe to say that we are most likely going to see him in future projects.
