Miles Morales Enters a New Era in Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #1 – First-Ever Event for the New Ultimate Universe

Get ready, Marvel fans! A big event is coming to the new Ultimate Universe. On June 4, Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #1 hits shelves, marking the start of a five-part series that will bring Miles Morales into the spotlight once again.

Written by Deniz Camp and Cody Ziglar, with art by Jonas Scharf, this new story is the first major crossover in the new Ultimate Universe. It will connect all five of the current Ultimate titles: Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Black Panther, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimates, and Ultimate Wolverine.

Before this universe began, the villain known as the Maker gave Miles Morales a key—literally and figuratively. Now, Miles must use it and explore the twisted world the Maker helped build. It’s going to be a wild ride across different corners of this reimagined universe.

“This is an Ultimate Universe-wide story—and there might be a few life-changing revelations for both Miles and the Ultimates characters along the way!” said Camp in an interview with ComicBook.com. “I don’t want to ruin anything, but readers are going to learn more about a number of Ultimate characters, and some of the Ultimates characters are going to learn new things about themselves.”

Fans have also gotten a sneak peek at the first issue’s pages, including a cool moment where Miles teams up with Peter Parker and Richard Parker to fight the Spot. It’s not your usual Spider-Man meeting either.

“Miles is definitely coming into this interaction with more experience than is traditionally the case when he meets a Peter, and that’s part of the fun,” said Ziglar. “Miles has some big ‘been there, done that’ energy which rubs off on the new Ultimate Spider-Men. In fact, I dare say it—Miles might be a little too cocky for Peter’s taste, but that’s also where some of the comedy lies!”

The issue will feature multiple covers from amazing artists like Sara Pichelli, Kaare Andrews, David Marquez, Francesco Mobili, Kael Ngu, and even a special foil variant.

Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion is a huge step forward for the Ultimate Universe. It brings together heroes and stories from all across this new world, and it’s all building toward something major—the return of the Maker. Don’t miss this exciting launch when it drops on June 4!
