Massimiliano Gallo plays the all-powerful commander of the institution, Achille Giordano, and has appeared in the Netflix movie ‘Vanished Into the Night.’ Cristiana Capotondi plays Laura Canali, a philosophy teacher who is the only civilian voice in a world governed entirely by military codes.
The ensemble runs deep. Beatrice Savignani, Simone Secce, Giulio Brizzi, Nicole Malaj and Alicia Edogamhe are also in the cast, alongside Irene Maiorino, Raiz and Michele Rosiello.
Behind the camera, the pedigree is just as clear. Ivan Silvestrini directed the series, and Roberto Sessa produced it for Picomedia, an Asacha Media Company group that is part of Fremantle.
