And while the Digimon franchise is really large in terms of the various works it encompasses, most fans of the franchise are looking forward either to the anime or the games. We already know that a new Digimon Story game is coming later this year, but it seems that a new anime is coming as well!

Ahead of the Digimon Con special event, which is currently live and revealing numerous information about the future of the series, a new Digimon anime website went live and it seems that it has accidentally leaked a new anime that is set to premiere in October!

If you observe the header image of our article, you will see a short Japanese text about the history of the Digimon franchise and, in particular, the Digimon anime series. The red box highlights a paragraphs that reads as follows (translation via With the Will):

Starting in October 2025, the new series “Digimon Beatbreak”, the first in about two years, will begin airing. “Digimon has a history of over 25 years and continues to evolve.”

We know that Digimon Con is going to reveal the special Digimon Adventure BEYOND music video that will show what happened to the original DigiDestined after Kizuna and 02: The Beginning, but something “more” was teased for the show as well and from how things stand, this “more” seems to be the new anime – Digimon Beatbreak.

Take this with a grain of salt as it is not official (the translation is correct, but the information could be false or misinterpreted in some way), but it seems that Digimon is finally getting a new anime series, which is what the fans had wanted for some time now.
