Gotham City has always thrived on chaos, but nothing quite prepares fans for watching its guardian be the one who needs saving. As production rolls forward on Matt Reeves’ highly anticipated sequel, the secretive nature of the shoot has made every leaked clip feel like a genuine event for die-hard followers.

That secrecy took a hit again this week as new footage surfaced from the set, giving audiences an unusually intimate glimpse into what’s coming next. Production on ‘The Batman Part II’ has kept most plot details tightly under wraps, so any unscripted leak tends to spark immediate speculation.

This particular leak, however, may be one of the more revealing ones yet. Set videos filmed in Glasgow, Scotland show Alfred Pennyworth performing CPR to resuscitate Bruce Wayne, who appears to wake up and share a tense exchange with his butler once he comes to.

Adding another layer of intrigue, a closer look at the footage suggests Bruce is shown in handcuffs during the sequence, hinting that he may have run into serious trouble with someone far more powerful than your average Gotham criminal. Notably, Bruce doesn’t appear to be suited up as Batman in these shots, which raises the possibility that this particular threat is targeting Bruce Wayne the man rather than his caped alter ego.

It remains unclear whether stars Robert Pattinson and Andy Serkis were physically present for these specific takes, though evidence points to Serkis likely being on set given the nature of the scene. If these clips do capture rehearsal footage ahead of a later filming session, the final version could look quite different once it reaches theaters.

Beyond the resuscitation scene itself, additional footage from the same shoot reportedly shows a boat still parked on location, bearing a flag that onlookers speculate could belong to someone of significant importance within Gotham’s power structure. The sequel brings back much of the original film’s core cast, including Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot, and Jayme Lawson as Mayor Bella Reál, alongside new additions like Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson in roles that have yet to be officially detailed. Reeves has continued the grounded, practical filmmaking approach that defined the first installment, something these leaked clips seem to reinforce given their raw, on-location feel.
