‘Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny’ Will Bring Nickelodeon’s Popular Characters to the World of RPG Gaming Later This Year

Nickelodeon has produced some major animated classics, among which are The Fairly OddParents and SpongeBob SquarePants. And while there have been games involving these characters, it is time for something new and big(ger).

Namely, developer Petit Fabrik and Fair Play Labs, along with publisher GameMill Entertainment, announced Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny, an action-oriented RPG that will feature Nickelodeon’s characters as the main heroes.

A lot has been revealed about the game and we are going to bring you all the details here, including some interesting videos.

The game has been described as “a vibrant, universe-spanning mashup that brings iconic Nickelodeon heroes into a world of fantasy-style tropes and real-time RPG action. Roll the the dice and dive into a wild, action-packed adventure with SpongeBob and more Nickelodeon characters! Get ready for epic battles, dynamic environments, and recognizable character moments, all with an engaging gameplay experience for players of all ages.”

So far, SpongeBob SquarePants and characters from The Fairly OddParents have been confirmed, with the developers revealing some special abilities for SpongeBob:

• Bubble Blast – A ranged attack where SpongeBob blows a giant bubble to inflict attack damage to enemies in its bubbly path.
• Goofy Goober! – SpongeBob sports his wizard costume and elevates above the battlefield while blasting 360 degrees with his guitar to inflict ranged damage.
• Kah-Rah-Tay! – SpongeBob performs a spinning 360 attack while wearing his Kah-Rah-Tay gloves to deal martial arts-style attack damage.
• Ol’ Reliable – SpongeBob bashes enemies with his trusty jellyfish net, “Ol’ Reliable”, in a forward attack to inflict damage on his adversaries.
• Pretty Patty – SpongeBob eats a Pretty Patty for healing power to restore his health.
• Shield Bash – A shield attack that can be charged. The shield blocks damage while SpongeBob charges the bash attack. It then deals attack damage on release, pushing enemies back.
• Order Up! Combo – SpongeBob swings his spatula like a sword. String attacks together into a triple-attack spatula combo that deals attack damage. Also recovers his mana
