Noah Jupe Says ‘A Quiet Place 3’ Is “Big and Bold” as It Finally Closes the Abbott Family Saga

The Abbott family’s fight for survival has spanned nearly a decade of near-silent terror, and fans have waited years to see how their story finally comes to an end. With ‘A Quiet Place: Day One‘ expanding the franchise’s world in 2024 without directly continuing the original storyline, the pressure has only grown for the next true sequel to deliver a satisfying conclusion.

That next chapter is finally taking shape, and the cast is beginning to offer real hints about what audiences can expect. John Krasinski returns as director, writer, and producer for the threequel, bringing back Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe as Evelyn, Regan, and Marcus Abbott, alongside Cillian Murphy reprising his role as Emmett.

Jupe recently offered fans their clearest look yet at what this final installment has in store, describing the film as a true conclusion to the trilogy. “I think it pretty well bookends the series,” Jupe told RadioTimes, adding simply, “It’s big and it’s bold!”

That description carries real weight given how the second film ended. The Abbotts and their companions appeared to gain a genuine tactical advantage against the alien creatures by the sequel’s final moments, and Jupe’s comments about the film’s ambitious scale suggest ‘A Quiet Place 3’ may lean into major action sequences that finally give humanity the upper hand against the invaders.

Beyond the story itself, Jupe also reflected on the emotional experience of returning to the franchise years after filming the earlier installments. He noted how strange it felt reuniting with much of the same crew, many of whom looked largely unchanged nearly a decade later since much of the crew were already adults during the earlier shoots, unlike Jupe and Simmonds, who’ve grown up considerably since their first appearances in the franchise.

Production on the threequel has now officially wrapped, with set footage and images suggesting portions of the story will take place in New York City. That detail lines up with speculation that the film could open with the initial chaos of the alien attack, mirroring how ‘A Quiet Place Part II’ opened with John Krasinski’s Lee Abbott surviving the earliest moments of the invasion.

The threequel has faced a long and winding road to the screen, originally targeted for a 2025 release before being pulled from Paramount’s schedule and delayed multiple times. The film is now officially set to hit theaters on July 30, 2027, following a slight delay from its previously announced date earlier that same month.

Krasinski’s return to the director’s chair carries extra significance given his history with the franchise, having also appeared as Lee Abbott in flashback sequences during the second film’s opening. Whether he reprises that role again for the finale remains to be seen, but his continued creative control suggests the trilogy’s conclusion will stay true to the emotional core that’s defined the series from the start.

With production wrapped and Jupe teasing a genuinely massive send-off for the Abbott family, anticipation for the franchise’s true conclusion is only building as the 2027 release date approaches.
