Things are currently becoming much livlier when the Vision Quest series is concerned. The series was announced a while ago and it’s been some time since we’ve received an update, but we’re talking about it quite often right now.

Not that long ago, we reported about the rumor that T’Nia Miller would be joining the series as the villainess Jocasta, and now, we have another important casting rumor that we want to share with you.

Namely, according to our source, Emily Hampshire has been cast as the human form of E.D.I.T.H. and she will appear in the series, taking over the role from Dawn Michelle King, who voiced E.D.I.T.H. in Far From Home.

Hampshire’s famous roles include Angelina in the 1998 romantic comedy Boy Meets Girl, Vivienne in the 2006 film Snow Cake, Jennifer Goines in the Syfy drama series 12 Monkeys (2015–2018), and Stevie Budd in the CBC comedy series Schitt’s Creek (2015–2020), as well as the voice role of Misery in the YTV animated series Ruby Gloom (2006–2008).

It is currently unknown in what capacity she is going to appear, but knowing that Vision was also an AI before appearing in physical form, E.D.I.T.H. could receive a similar treatment in the series.

The source of this rumor is Daniel Richtman, who shared it via his Patreon account. And while Richtman has a solid track record, we advise you to take this one with a grain of salt until it is officially confirmed.

Hampshire would, if this one proves to be true, join Paul Bettany, James Spader, Todd, Stashwick, Ruaridh Mollica, and T’Nia Miller, who have been cast in the sereis.

The filming of Vision Quest is currently taking place, with Terry Matalas leading the production as the showrunner. The series is scheduled to be released sometime in 2026.
