Ryan Reynolds Comments on Taylor Swift Joining ‘Deadpool 3’ Rumors – ”Yeah, I’ve Heard That One”

Among all upcoming movies based on Marvel characters, there isn’t a movie as hyped as ‘Deadpool 3.’ The movie sees Ryan Reynolds returning as the titular character with his buddy Wolverine, the role which pulled Hugh Jackman out of the character’s retirement. Although the plot is largely unknown, rumors and speculations point in the direction of Multiversal chaos and plenty of known characters and villains making an appearance.

As I’ve mentioned ‘Deadpool 3’ is one of the most common movies to target with various rumors, and the most persistent one so far has been that Taylor Swift will make an appearance in the movie. First, it was speculated that she might appear as small-time villain Dazzler, but ultimately, speculation pointed in the direction that her role will be of a different kind.

On Wednesday, British Columbia Gov. Janet Austin bestowed upon him the Order of British Columbia in a private investiture ceremony held in Vancouver. Reynolds showed up to receive the awards, and he commented on the rumors surrounding Taylor Swift.

Yeah, I’ve heard that one, I love it. I think it is a sign of how eager people are to get a peek behind the curtain in this world. Every single one of these secrets and spoilers will be revealed on July 26.

Just a day later, the filming of ‘Deadpool 3’ resumed. The movie was just 50% done when the strikes began, and the production, as well as with so many other projects was paralyzed. ‘Deadpool 3’ release date was changed several times until ultimately settling on May 3rd, 2024, but following the troubles with the SAG-AFTRA strike, the movie was further postponed, switching release dates with ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ and is now set to release on July 26, 2024.
