Taylor Swift as Dazzler is probably one of the longest-awaited MCU debuts, and fans could be getting their wish in the upcoming ‘Deadpool 3‘ based on our sources. The punk-rock superhero is already synonymous with Swift’s style and appearance, and Ryan Reynolds’ comments about hoping to have her on the set in 2022 only made that more likely. More sources have since confirmed Swift’s possible cameo in the movie, and fans can’t wait to know whether Taylor Swift will play Dazzler in ‘Deadpool 3.’

Rumors of Taylor Swift making her debut on Deadpool started in 2022 when Ryan Reynolds told ET that it was a possibility. On 12th August 2023, Disinsider confirmed these rumors when they named Taylor Swift on their list of unconfirmed debutants in the upcoming ‘Deadpool 3’. Marvel has, however remained tight-lipped on the cast list.

While there is no official confirmation of the ‘Deadpool 3′ cast list from Marvel, Swift’s debut seems like a matter of when and not if. Swift joining up as Dazzler with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool seems like the perfect completion of the stellar cast for ‘Deadpool 3.’ Swift is one of many big names expected to join the ‘Deadpool 3’ cast, so let’s look at other A-listers who could join her.

Has Taylor Swift joined ‘Deadpool 3’?

While there is no official confirmation of Taylor Swift joining the ‘Deadpool 3’ cast, the rumor has been around since 2022. “Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius.” Reynolds, who plays Deadpool (Wade Wilson), said in an interview when asked about the musician’s possible MCU debut.

The first clues of Taylor and Reynolds working together on the movie were actually released by Reynolds himself in a teaser video in September 2022. Fans noted that the video was shot in the same place as Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well: The Short Film’ video. Reynolds is a big Taylor Swift fan, so his teaser video wasn’t a big shocker for Swifties.

The rumors were further confirmed by Disinsider, who named Taylor Swift as one of the names joining the ‘Deadpool 3’ cast. The post said Swift, who fans already associate with Dazzler, will join up with Hugh Jackman and other A-Listers for the movie.

While Dazzler (Allison Blair) hasn’t been played by a musician before, the character’s punk-rock appearance has always been associated with Swift. The character has been played by Halston Sage (Dark Phoenix) and Alexandra Stoddart in the past, but MCU’s multiverse saga allows anyone to play the role as variants, and Swift is a perfect fit. Her huge fan base has since expressed their excitement at the news on social media, and Dazzler already looks good on Swift.

Who else stars in ‘Deadpool 3’?

While Marvel hasn’t released an official cast list for Deadpool 3, set photos and rumors online have linked a host of A-Listers with the project. Promotional set photos released by Marvel show Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprising their lead roles as Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively. The two are seen in a fight scene in the photos.

Other expected returnees include Morena Baccarin as Venessa, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus and a host of other ‘Deadpool 2’ actors.

There is also a long list of expected newcomers to ‘Deadpool 3,’ including Taron Egerton, who is expected to play another Wolverine, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Halle Berry as Storm, and other unconfirmed A-Listers included in the Disinsider rumors video.
