‘Solo Leveling’ Season 2, Episode 12 Becomes the Most-Liked Episode on Crunchyroll
The second season of the Solo Leveling anime series really did it. After several delays, a rather turbulent first season and a somewhat slow start, Season 2 proved to be a real hit and is now breaking records with each new episode.
Ahead of the season finale, which is set to air this Saturday, we can confirm that the previous episode, Episode 12, titled “Are You the King of Humans?”, broke a new record on Crunchyroll, which is just one of many!
“Are You the King of Humans?” brought us the long-awaited clash between Sung Jin-woo and the Ant King, one of the series’ most dangerous and lethal characters. And while the other S-Rank Hunters couldn’t take down the dreaded revenge-seeking foe, Sung was the one who managed to do it.
The episode received critical acclaim and the online hype was basically palpable. But it’s not just our subjective opinion. Namely, according to a reliable social media source, the episode quickly became the most-liked anime episode on Crunchyroll, surpassing the previous episode of Solo Leveling as well as a now third-placed Chainsaw Man episode:
As we’ve said, the season is coming to an end this Saturday, but she series is certainly going to continue and based on the success of the series so far, we could be in for more Solo Leveling content for the next several years!
