‘Stranger Things’ Fans Finally Get a First Look at the Complete Series Box Set, and It’s Worth the Wait
Nearly a full year has passed since ‘Stranger Things‘ wrapped its story for good, and the wait for fans hoping to own the entire saga on physical media is finally coming to an end. Netflix’s biggest original series is about to make the leap to shelf-worthy packaging for the very first time, arriving in a form dedicated collectors have been asking about since the show first became a cultural phenomenon back in 2016.
That release is now just weeks away, and Netflix has shared a new look at exactly what fans can expect once the box set finally lands. The reveal shows off the towering, five-volume spine design of the Deluxe Edition, packaged inside dramatic red and black artwork that echoes the show’s Upside Down aesthetic straight down to the glowing embers along the bottom of the set.
Arrow Video, working directly alongside Netflix, is handling the release, with ‘Stranger Things, The Complete Series’ set to hit shelves on July 27 in the UK and July 28 in the US and Canada. The set marks the first time every single episode across all five seasons, 42 episodes spread across 25 discs, will be available on physical media in one place.
Fans can choose between Special and Deluxe editions, each available in both standard Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD formats. The Deluxe Edition goes considerably further than a typical box set, featuring newly commissioned artwork inspired by classic Drew Struzan-style poster design, a 148-page booklet, exclusive art cards from all five seasons, double-sided posters, a Hellfire Club patch, a pair of Hellfire Club d20 dice, and a fold-out map of Hawkins.
Every version of the release, regardless of tier, comes packed with bonus material built for longtime fans looking to revisit the show’s production history. That includes interviews with cast and crew, behind-the-scenes featurettes, set tours, bloopers, image galleries, and trailers, giving even casual viewers plenty of reasons to consider the upgrade from streaming.
Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer spoke about what the release means to them personally, framing it as something they had hoped to see happen since the show first began. “We always dreamed that Stranger Things could be owned in its entirety,” the Duffer Brothers said in a statement, adding that the goal was never just to create a collector’s item but to preserve the show for decades to come.
Pricing reflects the scale of the release, with the Special Edition running 200 dollars for Blu-ray and 220 dollars for 4K, while the Deluxe Edition climbs to 250 dollars and 270 dollars, respectively. Given the volume of exclusive material packed into the higher tier, along with the physical scale of the set itself, the price point has largely been framed by early coverage as fitting for what is being positioned as the most elaborate physical release Netflix has ever put behind one of its original series.

The timing of the release also lines up with a broader expansion of the ‘Stranger Things’ universe well beyond its original run. The animated spin-off ‘Stranger Things, Tales From 85’ already premiered on Netflix earlier this year, while the Tony Award-winning prequel stage production ‘Stranger Things, The First Shadow’ continues its run on Broadway, with a filmed version reportedly planned for a future streaming release.
For a series that consistently broke viewership records throughout its decade-long run, culminating in a final season that pushed all four prior seasons back into Netflix’s global charts, the arrival of a definitive physical collection feels like a fitting send-off.
