Sydney Sweeney Claims She Would Return to Spider-Verse Under One Condition

Sydney Sweeney Stuns Fans With Her Statement Regarding Madame Web MCU Im So

It’s been exactly a month since ‘Madame Web’ released and what was supposed to be the next installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (without Spider-Man in it) that expands on the popular side-characters, quickly turned out into a massive loss for a studio and meme factory. The movie turned out to be both commercial and box-office failure failing to outearn ‘Morbius,’ previous record-holder when it comes to the bar of bad SSU movies.

The cast members are coping in their own ways, Sweeney who played Julia Carpenter one of the Spider-Women already joked about the movie in a lighthearted way, while her co-star Dakota Johnson (Cassandra Web) gave some serious statements to the press about how the film studios execs need to take a long hard look at what they are creating. Johnson also allegedly found herself in hot water after some statements with an industry insider claiming that it’s going to take a lot to bring Johnson back to the good graces of the [Sony] Studio.

Now in her interview with ComicBook.com Sydney Sweeney surprisingly revealed that she would be willing to return to Spider-Verse as Julia Cornwall if she gets to share the screen with Zenadaya.

Oh my God yeah, that’d be so cool.

Sweeney and Zendaya already have history and acting chemistry together since they both appeared in HBO Drama ‘Euphoria.’ But it seems unlikely that the two will meet in Spider-Man movies, mostly due to ‘Madame Web’ tanking and obliterating any chances of getting a sequel. However, that doesn’t mean that Sweeney and her ‘Madame Web’ co-stars won’t eventually crossover to the MCU. Something that is rumored to happen with SSU’s Venom.

Dakota Johnson first claimed that she would like to return for a sequel until eventually backtracking on her statement saying she would never do it again. There’s also that response that Sweeney gave to the press that implies that she wasn’t that into character and doesn’t feel all that responsible for the movie’s failure.

What do you think? Would you like to see Zenaday and Sweeney in the MCU together? Let us know in the comments below!
