Fallout (Franchise)

Fallout is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game franchise created by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, set in a future world shaped by a nuclear war between the United States and China. The series is known for its retro-futuristic 1950s-inspired style and began in 1997, later continuing through multiple sequels and major entries developed by studios like Bethesda and Obsidian Entertainment. Over time, Bethesda acquired the rights to the franchise, expanding it further while also ending a planned online version after legal disputes with Interplay.
