The Big Bang Theory is a CBS sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady that aired from 2007 to 2019 over 12 seasons and 279 episodes, following a group of scientists and their friends in Pasadena, California. It started with characters like Leonard, Sheldon, Penny, Howard, and Raj, and later expanded to include key supporting figures such as Amy, Bernadette, and Stuart Bloom.
