‘The Apothecary Diaries’ Season 2 Reveals Kyō-u’s Voice Actress

The Apothecary Diaries have been an extremely popular series. And while it did not seem like Natsu Hyūga’s novels would become such a global hit, the anime adaptation of the series has been regarded as one of the best anime in recent years.

The fans are enjoying a blend of history, drama, romance, and intrigue, just as you’d expect from a royal court. All of this is additionally strengthened with amazing characters and high production values.

The second season of the popular series began in April and now, ahead of the show’s 41st episode, a new cast member has been confirmed.

Episode 41 of the series, also the 17th episode of this season, will be titled “The Fox Village” and it is scheduled to air on May 2, 2025. Thanks to the previews, we know what we can expect and that also means that we know that the character of Kyō-u will debut in this episode.

The producers have confirmed that Kyō-u will be voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara, a big name from the seiyuu industry, so we are certain that she will bring something special to the role.

Kyō-u will have a very significant role in the upcoming episode and that is why we are looking forward to – we are sure – another great vocal performance by Natsumi Fujiwara tomorrow.
