Episode 7 of The Boys shows the world falling deeper under Homelander’s control. After getting hold of the V1 virus from Soldier Boy, Homelander becomes even more dangerous and confident. He starts acting like a ruler with no limits, using fear and Vought’s propaganda to control the country.

One of the biggest turning points comes early in the episode when Homelander kills the president. After that, he pushes forward with his plan to reshape society around his image. People are forced to accept his rule as he tightens control through media and public fear.

While this is happening, Butcher is working on a risky plan to stop him. He looks into old Russian experiments involving Soldier Boy and tries to build a way to weaken Homelander. His idea is to use radiation and uranium-based research to turn Kimiko into a living weapon that might be able to neutralize Homelander’s powers. Kimiko agrees to take the risk, even though it could kill her. Frenchie stays close to her, refusing to leave her side.

At the same time, Sage joins the group reluctantly after Frenchie convinces her to help. The team splits up and begins investigating strange activity at Vought Studios. They discover propaganda projects designed to make Homelander look like a divine leader. These productions are meant to push his image even further into cult-like territory.

Elsewhere, Soldier Boy tries to walk away from everything. He tells Homelander he wants out of the fight and wants to leave. The meeting between father and son quickly turns dark. Homelander refuses to let him go and puts him back into cryogenic captivity, ending any chance of escape.

The Deep also suffers a major downfall. After Homelander cuts ties with him, he loses everything he built around Vought. He is left alone, humiliated, and forced to flee without support or direction.

Hughie continues to struggle with Butcher’s behavior. He begins to see strange visions involving Joe Kessler, which make him question Butcher’s mental state. It becomes clear that Butcher is becoming more unstable and possibly just as dangerous as the enemies they are fighting.

The final part of the episode becomes the most emotional and violent. Kimiko’s transformation reaches a breaking point, and a major confrontation with Homelander follows. In the chaos, Frenchie sacrifices himself to save Kimiko. He takes the full impact of a deadly blast meant for her and dies in her arms.

His final moments show him protecting the person he cares about most, even as everything falls apart around them. His death hits the team hard and leaves them shaken heading into the final episode.

The episode ends with Homelander stronger than ever and the Boys fractured by loss. Frenchie’s death marks one of the biggest shocks of the season and confirms that no one is safe as the series moves toward its finale.
