‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ Star Jeremy Allen White Goes Shirtless for an L.A. Hike, and Yes, the Photos Are Exactly What You Think
Jeremy Allen White is enjoying a casual day outdoors while staying busy with a packed year in film and television.
The 35-year-old Emmy-winning actor was spotted on a morning hike in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 2. He was shirtless as he walked through warm weather trails and carried his shirt in his hand. He was joined by his former Shameless co-star Shanola Hampton, and the two were seen hiking together in a relaxed mood.
Jeremy Allen White has been in the spotlight recently for both his physical transformation and his growing list of major projects across Hollywood. His appearance during the hike quickly drew attention online, adding to the ongoing buzz around his career moves.
One of his recent roles is in the latest Star Wars universe film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, where he voices Rotta the Hutt. The performance is not immediately recognizable since it is voice-only, but it marks his entry into a major franchise. White has said in past interviews that he wanted to try something new and also do a project his children could enjoy watching.
The Mandalorian and Grogu expands the larger Star Wars story and includes several well-known characters from the franchise. White’s involvement adds another high-profile credit to his growing film career.
At the same time, White’s acclaimed FX series The Bear is also heading toward its conclusion. It has been confirmed that the upcoming fifth season will be the final season of the show. FX also announced that Season 5 will be released on June 25, with all eight episodes dropping at once on Hulu instead of being released weekly or in parts.
The Bear has been one of the most talked-about shows in recent years, and White’s role as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto has earned him critical praise and awards recognition. The final season is expected to wrap up the story of the restaurant and its characters in a more definitive way.
Outside television, White is continuing to build his film career. In 2025, he starred as Bruce Springsteen in Deliver Me from Nowhere, a biographical film directed by Scott Cooper. The movie focuses on Springsteen’s creative process during the making of his 1982 album Nebraska.
For the role, White trained with vocal coaches and learned guitar using an instrument connected to Springsteen himself. He later described the experience as emotionally intense, saying it was not a light or easy process and required him to stay in a serious mindset while filming.
Looking ahead, White is set to appear in several upcoming projects. He will play journalist Jeff Horwitz in The Social Reckoning, the sequel to The Social Network directed by Aaron Sorkin. He is also set to co-star with Austin Butler in the thriller Enemies, produced by A24. Another project, Chomper Chest, is also listed in development with White attached to star.
With his work spanning television, biopics, voice acting, and major studio films, Jeremy Allen White continues to move between different genres while maintaining a steady presence in both streaming and theatrical releases.
