‘Usagi Yojimbo: Ten Thousand Plums’ #2 Preview: A Tragedy Among Plum Trees
Created back in 1984 by Stan Sakai, Usagi Yojimbo has been one of the most popular non-mainstream comic book series of all time. The titular hero, a samurai rabbit, has become a popular pop culture phenomenon.
And while Usagi Yojimbo never managed to become a proper mainstream hero, the comics are still there and he is still a fairly popular character that many fans love. And that is why we are writing about him.
In this report, we are going to present you a preview of the upcoming Usagi Yojimbo: Ten Thousand Plums #2 comic book, which is set to be released on April 16, 2025 by Dark Horse Comics.

Stan Sakai is once again the writer and artist of this series, and the upcoming issue promises us a major mystery, as per the official synopsis:
A group of the Shogun’s men are found slain in the plum tree forest, and the only survivor is a young village girl reeling in shock from the attack. Usagi, Yukichi, and Gen agree to help protect the plum trees and prevent more tragedy from befalling the locals, but will their swords be enough? The latest Usagi story continues!
