‘Vision Quest’ Finale May Include Ghost Agatha or the Shocking Return of Fan-Favorite Character, Report Says

Marvel fans are buzzing with anticipation for Vision Quest, the upcoming Disney+ series that will complete an unofficial trilogy alongside WandaVision and Agatha: All Along. The show will dive into the story of White Vision, continuing his arc after the events of WandaVision.
While details remain scarce, new updates are fueling excitement for its 2026 release as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Six.
Insider Daniel Richtman recently shared insights about the series on his Patreon page. He revealed that the production team is experimenting with multiple endings. One version might feature Ghost Agatha and Billy, while another could center on Wanda, suggesting ties to the broader WandaVision universe.
To cut costs on special effects, the team plans to portray robotic or AI characters, like Vision, in human form most of the time. This approach aims to speed up filming and meet the targeted 2026 release.
Ultron, the iconic AI villain, is confirmed to return, and there’sa possible debut of Jocasta, known in the comics as Ultron’s bride. These additions could deepen the show’s exploration of Vision’s artificial identity. Paul Bettany, who stars as Vision, has been preparing for his role by revisiting Agatha All Along, hinting at strong connections between the spin-offs.
Production for Vision Quest kicked off on March 14, 2025, at Pinewood Studios in London under the working title Tin Man. The project faced a slight delay from its original late-2024 start date.
The series boasts a talented crew, including directors Terry Matalas, Laura Byrne, Vincenzo Natali, and Samira Monteiro, with cinematography by Christopher Ross and Neville Kidd. Editing is led by Amelia Allwarden, known for her work on Echo (2024).
As Vision Quest shapes up to be a key piece of Marvel’s Phase Six, fans are eager to see how it ties together the emotional and mystical threads from WandaVision and Agatha: All Along.
I’m thrilled about Vision Quest rounding out this WandaVision trilogy, and the focus on White Vision’s identity feels like a fresh angle. The potential return of Ultron and ties to Agatha and Wanda could make this a standout.
I hope the cost-saving move on effects doesn’t dim the show’s visual impact, though. What do you think about Vision Quest’s direction? Are you excited for Ultron’s return or curious about the alternate endings? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
