Wilson Bethel, who plays Bullseye in Daredevil: Born Again, has talked about what could come next for his character after the Season 2 finale. The comments come from an interview with Collider, where he discussed Bullseye’s final scene and possible future in the MCU.

At the end of the season, Bullseye is seen on a plane with Mr. Charles, played by Matthew Lillard. The moment strongly hints that Dex is not finished yet and may be moving into something larger and more organized. Bethel says this kind of direction fits the character’s history in the comics.

He explained, “Bullseye at the end of the day, in a lot of the comics, is just a straight-up hitman for hire,” adding that “I don’t think it would be out of the realm of possibility for a government to be the one that comes up with the money to hire him.”

This idea suggests Bullseye may not just be escaping danger, but possibly getting recruited or reassigned into a new role. Bethel says the key factor for the character is always control and freedom, depending on who he is working for.

He described Bullseye’s past deals as unstable, saying his character has often been in situations where he has little control or is being manipulated. But he hinted that things could be different now.

Bethel said, “I like to think that if he’s making any kind of bargains or deals about what his future holds at this point, he’s doing it from a position of power.”

That shift could point to a bigger role for Bullseye moving forward in the MCU, especially with the plane scene teasing new alliances and possible government involvement.

The actor also made it clear he wants to keep playing the character in future projects. Speaking about potential crossovers, he mentioned several Marvel heroes he would like Bullseye to face.

He said, “I think it would be a hell of a lot of fun to see him up against somebody like Spider-Man. It’d be a hell of a lot of fun to see him against somebody like Hawkeye. It would be a hell of a lot of fun to see him go up against Punisher.”

Bethel even added, “Let’s just hope that Tom Holland decides to do another one, and I can be a part of that one.”

His comments suggest that Bullseye’s story is not ending with Daredevil: Born Again. Instead, the finale may be setting up his next chapter in the MCU, possibly as a hired weapon operating under new and more powerful forces.
