Zendaya’s ‘The Odyssey’ Premiere Gown Came Straight Off the Paris Runway Just Hours Earlier

Zendaya has built a reputation for red carpet moments that feel less like appearances and more like events, and her latest stop on The Odyssey press tour delivered exactly that. The actress has spent the year balancing double duty between this Greek mythology epic and her ongoing Spider-Man press cycle, and each stop has come with its own distinct fashion statement.

Monday night in London raised the stakes even further. Zendaya arrived at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square for The Odyssey’s world premiere alongside husband Tom Holland and costars including Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon and Lupita Nyong’o, ready to make her third international stop of the film’s rollout count.

What made the moment stand out was not just the dress itself but how quickly it made its way from runway to red carpet. Zendaya wore a Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown from Daniel Roseberry’s Fall 2026 collection, a piece that had walked the runway in Paris that very same morning before being rushed across the English Channel in time for the premiere.

The gown featured a sculptural white porcelain bodice with a plunging waistline, paired with a long ombré skirt covered in thousands of cascading beads that shifted from ivory to silver. Built in lighting within the piece gave Zendaya a glowing, almost otherworldly presence on the carpet, a fitting touch given her role as the goddess Athena in Christopher Nolan’s film.

Longtime stylist Law Roach was the one who made the logistics happen, attending the Schiaparelli show in Paris before personally transporting the gown to London himself. He described the process in a video shared backstage, saying he flew in last night to come to the show and had a private jet waiting to get the dress across in time.

Roach completed the look with pale gold Christian Louboutin pumps, a layered diamond collar necklace from Chopard, and Zendaya’s hair styled in a Grecian rope braid that echoed her character’s mythological roots. It is not the first time the pairing has pulled a dress straight from the runway either, having done something similar during a recent Louis Vuitton Cruise show appearance.

The look continued a running theme throughout Zendaya’s Odyssey press tour, which has leaned heavily into white dresses with draped detailing and golden accents. Between the goddess adjacent styling and the timing of the Schiaparelli reveal, the outfit read as a deliberate extension of her onscreen role rather than a separate red carpet statement.

Zendaya was not finished after the Schiaparelli moment either. She later changed into a Valentino piece from the brand’s Fall 2026 collection, designed by Alessandro Michele, featuring a cropped green bodice resembling laurel leaves connected to a flowing gray skirt with cutouts along the torso.

That second look kept the Grecian theme alive while shifting the palette entirely, swapping the sculptural white for an earthier, more textured silhouette. Together, the two outfits gave the premiere a clear sense of narrative, tracking Zendaya’s character from marble statue to something closer to nature itself.

With The Odyssey still weeks away from its July 17 release and plenty of press stops still ahead, it seems safe to assume Zendaya’s fashion team has more goddess-inspired looks waiting in the wings before the film’s rollout wraps.
