After a tragic Black Friday riot in Plymouth a masked killer who calls himself John Carver begins targeting a circle of locals and leaving taunting clues that point back to the holiday. The story follows a small town investigation that zeroes in on the parade and the people who were there when everything went wrong, and it builds toward a reveal that ties the murders to that night. The film arrived on Hulu on Sunday August 17.

‘Thanksgiving’ is directed by Eli Roth and written by Roth with Jeff Rendell, with a cast that includes Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon. The production leans into classic holiday slasher iconography while updating it for a modern New England setting, and the supporting roles around the sheriff and the teens anchor the mystery as the list of suspects narrows.

The movie is directed by Jeff Fowler and stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic with James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Jim Carrey returning in live action roles. Idris Elba voices Knuckles and Colleen O’Shaughnessey voices Tails, and the screenplay comes from Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington, continuing the family friendly action introduced in ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’.

The movie is directed by Jodie Foster and stars George Clooney as host Lee Gates with Julia Roberts as producer Patty Fenn and Jack O’Connell as the armed caller, with Caitriona Balfe and Dominic West in pivotal roles.
