‘Emily in Paris’ Season 5 Teaser: Love, Rome & Revelry Await
Emily Cooper is packing her bags for a new adventure. Netflix has dropped the first teaser trailer and new photos for Season 5 of Emily in Paris, and this time, the story isn’t staying in France.
Lily Collins returns as the ambitious marketing executive who’s now splitting her time between Paris and Rome.
The new season shows Emily stepping into a fresh chapter that mixes love, travel, and her usual dose of drama. Fans can expect to see her romance with Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini, grow stronger as they explore Italy together. The teaser also hints at fun moments like road trips, boat rides, and plenty of late-night parties.
Along with Collins and Franceschini, several familiar faces are returning, including Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount.
The upcoming season will also feature a new addition: Minnie Driver, who joins the cast as Princess Jane, a royal friend of Sylvie’s.

While much of Season 5 takes place in Rome, the show won’t completely leave behind the City of Light. “Emily’s going to have a presence in Rome. It doesn’t mean she’s not going to be in Paris,” Star explained.
He also shared that Marcello’s storyline is meant to help Emily grow personally. “Marcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily because we ultimately want Emily to be able to have a better work/life balance,” he said. “We want to have Emily be able to smile without condition. We want to see her beyond her vacay mode. And he comes at that perfect time.”
With its Italian flair, romantic tension, and signature style, Season 5 of Emily in Paris looks ready to take viewers on a colorful and emotional ride.
