‘Killing Eve’ Star Jodie Comer Turns Paris Red-Hot in a Daring Scarlet Halter
Jodie Comer has had a busy 2026 on and off screen. A24 released ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ in the United States on June 19, with Comer starring alongside Hugh Jackman. She also fronted several editorials around the same time, including WWD Weekend in May and Harper’s Bazaar UK and Porter in June.
Her turn in ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ drew praise. She plays Sister Brigid, who nurses Robin back to health at a priory, and Deadline’s review called her a perfect counterpoint to Jackman. The review described Brigid as a compassionate and wise woman who offers him a final moment of grace.

Now she is making headlines for something far glossier. The actress showed up in a red halter top and black trousers against a pale stone wall. The top has a deep, open back tied at the waist, and her hair is pulled up in a loose ponytail.

The look appears to match what she wore to Givenchy’s Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear show during Paris Fashion Week. According to CelebMafia, the scarlet halter top has a softly draped high neckline, gathered fabric through the torso and a long asymmetric panel falling from the waist. She wore it with slim black trousers and black square-toe mules.

The top has enough volume and length to function almost like a dress panel over the trousers, while the exposed shoulders and sleeveless cut keep the upper silhouette clean. CelebMafia describes the contrast as saturated red and fluid draping above and narrow black tailoring below, and rated the look 8 out of 10. Her blonde hair was styled in a loose low updo with soft strands around the face, with understated rose-toned makeup.

WWD also photographed Comer at the Givenchy show, where Janelle Monáe and Anson Boon were also in the front row. The appearance comes during a busy stretch for the fashion calendar. Paris Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear shows run from Sept. 28 through Oct. 6.
This is not her first time at Givenchy. She attended the house’s Spring/Summer 2026 show on Oct. 3, 2025, and she has a history with halter necklines. For the London premiere of ’28 Years Later,’ she wore a floor-length metallic silver gown with a halter neckline.
That track record helps explain why her looks keep landing in fashion roundups. She is an Emmy-winning actress who rose to international fame on ‘Killing Eve,’ and her red-carpet moments tend to get as much attention as her film work.
