Netflix Drops Announcement Video as Production Kicks Off for ‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season 2
Netflix just gave fans a big update on All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is officially in production. The news came with an announcement video shared by the streamer, giving fans their first glimpse at the returning cast and some new faces.
The Korean zombie series became a massive hit back in 2022, quickly rising through the ranks on Netflix. Based on the webtoon by Joo Dong-geun, the first season pulled in over 560 million viewing hours in its first month.
It even landed in the Top 10 in more than 90 countries, making it one of Netflix’s most-watched non-English series ever.
Now, the story picks up after the chaos at Hyosan High. Park Ji-hu is back as Nam On-jo, who’s now trying to live a normal life as a university student in Seoul. But things don’t stay quiet for long — another outbreak breaks out in the city, and she’s forced to fight for survival again, this time without the friends who helped her before.

Along with Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, and Lomon are all returning in their original roles. The new season also introduces fresh characters played by Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won, and Yoon Ga-i.
This time, we’ll see On-jo forming bonds with her college seniors Yong Ma-ru, So Ju-ran, and Lee Jong-a. Meanwhile, Roh Jae-won joins the story as Han Du-seok, a team leader from the National Intelligence Service, who brings a new layer of tension as things spiral again.
We’ll also catch up with Lee Cheong-san, Choi Nam-ra, and Lee Su-hyeok as they try to move forward with their lives years after the original outbreak.
The new season is directed by Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su, with Chun Sung-il returning as the writer. The production is handled by FILM MONSTER, along with SLL Joongang, KIMJONGHAK PRODUCTION, and NPIO Entertainment.
Netflix hasn’t shared a release date yet, but with filming now underway, it’s clear that Season 2 is on the way, and fans are more than ready.
