‘Amazing Spider-Man/Ultimate Universe’ #1 Free Comic Book Day Special Will Lead Into the ‘Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion’ Storyline
Marvel is slowly gearing up for its major Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion storyline and the new Ultimate Universe’s first-ever event series promises to be a major event. It is starting on June 4, 2025, as has been officially confirmed.
But, before what, we’ll have the opportunity to read a very special preview story that will be available on Free Comic Book Day this years, as Marvel has officially confirmed.
The story in question is Amazing Spider-Man/Ultimate Universe #1 and it will be available on May 3, 2025. We are going to bring you all the information we have about the upcoming special story.
Interestingly enough, the special preview story will be brought to us by Deniz Camp (ULTIMATES) and Cody Ziglar (MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN) and will be drawn by Jonas Scharf (ULTIMATE UNIVERSE: ONE YEAR IN), the people who will also be in charge of the main Ultimate event.
The story will, as Marvel explained it, lay “the groundwork for Spider-Man’s epic journey across the Ultimate Universe, making it a must-have for eager fans and a perfect entry point to the hit new line for newcomers.” Some preview images have been released:
So, as we’ve said, the preview issue is coming out on May 3, 2025, and a month later, we’ll be able to enjoy the start of the Incursion storyline, which is going to have multiverse-wide repercussions, as has been teased by the writers.
