Out of all upcoming MCU movies, ‘Deadpool 3’ generates the most hype out of all of them, and for a good reason. We’ve yet to see a Deadpool movie that disappointed the audience; the series so far has a perfect lead, perfect cast, and perfect balance of action and humor, and its take on Marvel’s most notable anti-hero is simply phenomenal.
Ever since we heard that the new Deadpool is in development as a part of the MCU franchise the movie seemingly had everything working in its favor. Hugh Jackman is returning as Wolverine, it’s going to be R-rated, and it’s going to feature Multiverse and plenty of cameos from the beloved Fox’s X-Men franchise. According to some rumors, it’s also going to feature Taylor Swift in a yet undisclosed role.
The fact that Marvel Studios is also counting on ‘Deadpool 3’ to stop their ever-increasing losses regarding the movies is further supported by the fact that ‘Deadpool 3’ looks to be the only movie to release in 2024. The announcement was made via official schedule just weeks after Bob Iger announced that they should focus on quality and not quantity. Matthew Vaughn recently called ‘Deadpool 3’ MCU saver, claiming that what he saw when it comes to the movie “Marvel universe is about to have a jolt of them and it’s going to bring that body back to life.”
The first taste of ‘Deadpool 3’ Will definitely be the trailer and according to some rumors and predictions, the trailer might come on February 11th, during the Super Bowl as Marvel Studios has the tradition to release trailers during the event. At the 2023 Superbowl, multiple movies were featured.
Of course, there’s also this leak from Cryptic HD Quality on X where he claims that “teaser is ready and is being dubbed. Details may break soon.”
Following somewhat difficult production due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, ‘Deadpool 3’ is scheduled to be released on July 26, 2024. It’s going to be Deadpool’s first venture into the MCU and the first “R” rated movie in the franchise.
