‘Deadpool 3’ is currently one of the most anticipated superhero movies at this point for a good number of reasons. Apart from the fact that the previous two ‘Deadpool’ movies were equally successful in critical and commercial ways, the upcoming third installment already has many officially announced surprises, and the movie doesn’t try to hold many secrets like ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ which tried to hide the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, which ultimately turned out to be Hollywood’s worst kept secret.

When he first officially talked about ‘Deadpool 3, Ryan Reynolds didn’t hold back.’ He immediately announced Hugh Jackman’s return as the Wolverine in the next movie, and although the plot is officially kept under wraps, many details have already surfaced. Thanks to Deadpool’s fourth-wall-breaking ability, we know that the movie will surely deal with Disney’s acquisition of Fox and how Deadpool, as the only superhero who is aware that he’s a fictional character, handles the end of Fox’s ‘X-Men’ franchise and joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

‘Deadpool 3’ might introduce a kid variant of Wade Wilson!

The upcoming ‘Deadpool’ threequel will feature many returning stars from two previous movies, and there’s also a rumor about more special returns from the ‘X-Men’ movie series, although Jackman is the only one that’s officially confirmed. Jennifer Garner is also set to return as Elektra after portraying the character in 2003’s ‘Daredevil’ and 2005’s ‘Elektra.’ Of course, with so many returning stars, we can also expect some brand-new characters.

According to known leaker DanielRPK (via Deadpool Updates), ‘Deadpool 3’ will feature a live-action debut of Kidpool, an alternate variant of Wade Wilson, who resides on Earth-10330 in the source material. The character was first introduced in the comics in 2010, and Wade Wilson from Marvel’s Prime Universe (Earth-616) eventually recruited him into the Deadpool Corps to save the Multiverse. Since ‘Deadpool 3’ will also be a Multiverse movie, we can see something similar happening in the movie as well.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe fully engaged the concept of the Multiverse and alternate variants of their characters in this Multiverse Saga. The first traces were in the first season of ‘Loki,’ and we’ve also seen an alternate variant of Doctor Strange in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ not to mention countless Kang variants from the mid-credit scene of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.’

‘Deadpool 3’ will surely be a very important movie in MCU’s Phase 5, and we can’t wait to see what the director Shawn Levy and the main star and co-writer Ryan Reynolds prepared for us here.

‘Deadpool 3’ is currently scheduled to be released on May 3, 2024. Although we aren’t sure, the date will stay intact, given everything going on in Hollywood at this moment. You know what we’re talking about.
