First Look at Deadpool’s Variant From the Upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Revealed

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the most anticipated MCU movie currently, and the only movie releasing in 2024 as things currently stand. We’ve already heard from several sources that the movie is amazing and meant to reignite some of the faith in the MCU, to get people once again hyped to see the franchise’s movies. There are several reasons for that, the first being the return of Hugh Jackman in the role of Wolverine, something that he seemingly left behind with the ‘Logan’ movie, and the second reason is the fact that Deadpool is joining the MCU for the first time, the previous two movies being a part of Fox’s X-Men universe.

There are plenty of rumors going around that some of the most notable X-Men villains (and members) will appear in the movie, as well as rumors that Taylor Swift will be making an appearance in the movie in the yet-undisclosed role. This is something that even Ryan Reynolds has acknowledged and stayed rather secretive about it. Now Karan Soni, who will be returning as Dopinder in the third movie confirmed the hopes of the fans around the world. Apparently, there will be a lot of cameos in the upcoming movie, and the fans truly have something to be excited about.

Notable scooper and leaker CanWeGetSomeToast recently shared a first look at one of the variants in the upcoming movie, of course the variant in question is Wolverinepool. Wade Wilson, also known as Wolverinepool, had Adamantium fused to his skeleton by the Weapons Plus Program. He joined Dreadpool’s army and killed Deadpool Pulp.

He was later attacked by Deadpool with a bug-releasing grenade, which ate all his flesh, leaving only his skeleton and claws. His powers are similar to Wolverine’s but in a Deadpool-like manner, including Deadpool’s scarring. However, his healing ability is probably weaker than both Wolverine’s and Deadpool’s.

This artistic rendering of what Wolverinepool should look like only confirms the rumors that the movie will include many variants of both Deadpool and Wolverine, we know that Dogpool is also bound to appear in the movie, Wolverinepool is just one of many.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is expected to release on July 26, 2024, after initially switching release dates with ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ due to the production being interrupted by the SAG-AFTRA strike. The upcoming third Deadpool installment is the only MCU movie to be released in 2024 after ‘Captain America’ was delayed for more than a year after extensive reshoots and rewrites.
