The streaming charts are shifting again, with big platforms fighting for the top spot. The latest data comes from the Samba TV Weekly Wrap Report, which tracks viewing habits from more than 3 million U.S. households.

This week, Euphoria has moved into first place on the streaming chart. It is a return to the top after spending three weeks just below the number one position. The show’s rise shows strong continued interest in HBO Max content, especially as competition from Netflix stays intense.

Before Euphoria took over, the top spot was held by Netflix’s action film Apex for two weeks. That title has now dropped off the chart completely. Earlier in the cycle, HBO Max also led with The Pitt, which held number one for five weeks while finishing its second season.

Now the competition is back between HBO Max and Netflix. Netflix currently holds second place with the action series Man on Fire, which climbed three spots this week. Other Netflix entries are also showing up across the chart, including new titles like Remarkably Bright Creatures, Swapped, Should I Marry a Murderer?, and a new adaptation of Lord of the Flies.

In third place is The Boys, which continues its strong run on Prime Video. The show is close to its final season, with only a couple of episodes left. Even with heavy competition from Netflix and HBO Max, it remains one of the most-watched series on the platform this week.

The Samba TV Wrap Report notes that the chart reflects viewing trends across both streaming and traditional television, based on a large sample of U.S. households. This gives a snapshot of what people are actually watching each week across major services.

Other notable entries include Your Friends & Neighbors on Apple TV, which continues to stay in the lower half of the chart, and Rooster, a HBO Max comedy series that returns in ninth place with its season finale episode.

On the linear TV side, the top spot once again belongs to American Idol, which continues its strong run in live television viewing. CBS’s Marshals follows in second place, while NBC’s Chicago Med and Chicago Fire also perform well in the weekly rankings.

Overall, this week’s data shows a clear pattern. HBO Max and Netflix continue to trade dominance at the top of the streaming charts, while other platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV maintain steady but smaller shares of the top ten.
