Marvel Studios has kept Robert Downey Jr.’s take on Victor von Doom tightly under wraps, and fans have had to get creative about finding clues. Lately, the toy aisle has become the closest thing to a trailer for the villain’s costume. Every new collectible feels like a tiny piece of evidence.

That is why even a small, cute figure can spark so much conversation. Merchandise has been unusually revealing this season, from a Hot Toys figure showing Doom in multiple looks to the first promo art displayed at a Disney marketing expo in Shanghai. Each product gives fans another look at an armor design the studio has barely shown on screen.

The newest entry is a first look at Beast Kingdom’s mini Doctor Doom figure for ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ The images show the character hooded and cloaked in deep green against a misty, spotlit background, with an artwork card that reads “Doctor Doom” along the bottom. It appears to be part of Beast Kingdom’s Egg Attack Action line, specifically the EAA-175 release, which presents Doom in a stylized chibi design.

True to the chibi style, the proportions are cute but the details stay menacing. His oversized silver mask sits beneath a dark green hood, with glowing green eyes and rivet details across the face. The figure also wears a detailed armored suit and an iconic dark green cloak.

According to retailer listings, the toy stands roughly 4.8 inches tall and is made of PVC and ABS plastic. It features approximately 15 points of articulation, so fans can pose Doom in commanding or battle-ready stances. It also includes 3 pairs of interchangeable hands, including fists, gripping hands and open hands.

The figure is officially licensed by Marvel Studios. A note on the artwork card says the final product is pending the licensor’s approval, so small changes are still possible before it ships.

Pre-orders opened in August at $47.99 at retailers such as Entertainment Earth and BigBadToyStore, with a premium packaging option listed at $50.99. The estimated arrival is January 2027, though some retailers have already listed it as sold out. That suggests fans are not waiting around for the full reveal.

Beast Kingdom has built a global reputation with its Egg Attack Action series, which turns pop-culture characters into articulated, stylized figures. The company’s Doomsday range also includes a blind box set under its Mini Egg Attack line. For collectors, the Doom figure is the headline piece.

The figure also echoes the look pieced together by other products. Comics Beat noted that the apparent design, credited to veteran MCU costumer Judianna Makovsky, is darker than the green robes Doom wore in his cameo during the mid-credits scene of ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps.’ Notable changes from the classic comic look include chainmail, a visible lamellar breastplate and symbols on the cloak clasps. The outlet suggested those symbols likely represent Doom’s mastery of science and magic.

Doom also won’t stick to a single look. A Hot Toys Victor von Doom figure reveals a second costume that resembles formal traveling wear, matching the outfit from Downey’s post-credits appearance, according to IGN. TBreak noted that the figure confirms Doom will appear in at least 2 distinct looks, though it doesn’t establish when either appears in the film. Officially licensed Funko merchandise has also labeled the character “Lord Doom” rather than “Doctor Doom.”

The Beast Kingdom release is only one piece of a growing wave. Entertainment Earth lists several other Doomsday Doom collectibles, including a Bandai S.H.Figuarts version, a 6-inch Marvel Legends release and Iron Studios pieces, among them a 1:4 scale Doom statue. There is also a LEGO New Avengers Tower, plus Regal promotions tied to opening weekend.

Behind the scenes, Downey’s commitment to the role has been well documented. Co-director Joe Russo previously described the actor’s process as very intense, saying Downey contributed to the character’s backstory and offered costume and styling ideas. The same ensemble includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Florence Pugh and Pedro Pascal, who all face the villain alongside the Fantastic Four, the New Avengers, the Wakandans and the X-Men.

With ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ arriving in theaters on December 18, the toy aisle is doing a lot of the early storytelling. A pint-sized Doom with glowing green eyes may seem like a lighthearted detour, but it also gives fans one of the clearest looks at the armor yet.
