Megan Fox Joins the Cast of ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ — Her Role Finally Revealed

Megan Fox is officially joining the Five Nights at Freddy’s universe. The actress has been cast as the voice of Toy Chica in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the sequel to the 2023 horror hit from Universal and Blumhouse. The movie is set to hit theaters on December 5.

Alongside Fox, other new voice talents include MatPat as Toy Bonnie and Kellen Goff as Toy Freddy. Emma Tammi, who directed the first movie, is returning to lead the sequel. Josh Hutcherson will once again play the security guard who finds himself trapped in the haunted Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lail, and Piper Rubio are also set to return.

The first Five Nights at Freddy’s followed Hutcherson’s character as he took on a night shift at the creepy family restaurant, only to discover the animatronic mascots had a deadly secret.

While details about the sequel’s storyline are still under wraps, the studio teased a chilling new tagline: “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.”

Based on Scott Cawthon’s popular video game series, the sequel continues the story that fans of the franchise know well. Cawthon co-wrote the script and remains closely involved in the film’s production. The project has been in development since the first movie became a major success, with plans for a second installment dating back to 2018.

Production for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 began in November 2024 and wrapped up in February. The cast also includes newcomers Skeet Ulrich, Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Teo Briones. Universal Pictures will distribute the film in the U.S.

Megan Fox stepping into the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise feels like a fun and fitting choice. Her voice as Toy Chica could add some extra charm, and menace, to the already creepy world of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.
