People are now placing real money bets on who might die in The Boys Season 5 finale, which is set to end the series this week. The final episode is almost here, and fans are focused on one big question: which characters will survive, and who will not make it out alive.

The idea of betting on character deaths comes from prediction markets like Polymarket, where users can wager money on different outcomes in TV shows and real-world events. In this case, the focus is on the final season of The Boys.

One of the actors reacting to this situation is Chace Crawford, who plays The Deep in the series. In an interview with Today, he was told that around $14,000 is being bet on whether his character dies in the final season. He responded in a joking way, saying: “It could be my $14,000! We don’t know,” and added: “Insider trading… it’s still the wild west on Polymarket, right?” He also said that people have been messaging him trying to get hints about what happens, but he is not giving anything away.

He explained further: “I’ve gotten some texts actually, from some people who were like, ‘Hey, really, dude, what episode is it exactly if you do?’ Can’t confirm or deny,” This information comes from his interview with Today.

On Polymarket, trading activity shows strong opinions about which characters might die. Reports shared in coverage of the market show that many users believe Homelander has a very high chance of dying by the end of the season, with The Deep also ranking right behind him.

Billy Butcher is also part of the speculation, though with lower odds. Some characters like Firecracker, A-Train, and Frenchie are already considered out of the running in the market based on earlier outcomes.

The betting rules for this market are very strict. A character only counts as “dead” if their death is clearly shown on screen or confirmed directly in the story. If a character comes back later through revival or reanimation, the death still counts.

Flashbacks, dreams, or hallucinations do not count as real deaths. If a character’s fate is left unclear, it does not count either. The outcome will only be decided based on what happens in the official episodes of The Boys Season 5, including any post-credits scenes that are part of the show.

The rules also make it clear that outside material like comics, podcasts, or other media will not affect the result unless the show directly references them.

With only the finale left, the speculation is at its peak. Viewers are now waiting to see how the story ends, while betting markets continue to move as people try to predict which characters will survive the end of The Boys.
