‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Gets a New ‘Titan’s Curse’ Trailer Tomorrow: Here’s What to Expect
Few book adaptations have matched the passion of the Camp Half-Blood faithful, and Disney+ has been steadily feeding that appetite. ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ has already covered ‘The Lightning Thief’ and ‘The Sea of Monsters’, which means the story is about to enter its darkest and coldest stretch yet. Fans have been waiting for a closer look at how the series will handle that shift.
The third season adapts ‘The Titan’s Curse’, the third book in Rick Riordan’s series, and it is the first time the novel has ever been adapted onscreen. Walker Scobell stars as Percy alongside Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth, Aryan Simhadri as Grover, Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart and Levi Chrisopulos. Production on the season began in Vancouver in August 2025 and ran through March 2026.
Now the next big promotional beat is here. A new trailer for the Percy Jackson season 3 premiere is set to arrive tomorrow, according to a short announcement clip bearing the Disney+ and Hulu logos. The teaser shows a figure straining beneath a crushing weight, set against jagged rock and a cold, stormy sky, with the words “Trailer Tomorrow” across the screen.

That image is a clear nod to the central curse of the story. In ‘The Titan’s Curse’, the Titan Atlas is forced to hold up the sky, and the series has already teased a first look at Percy holding Atlas’ globe. Riordan’s story has the demigods take on that burden, so the image sets up the season’s most iconic moment.
The synopsis fills in the stakes. When Annabeth is captured by the forces of Kronos, Percy must embark on a perilous journey to rescue her, free a goddess in chains and avoid triggering the fall of Olympus. Grover joins him, along with some unlikely questmates, to confront a prophecy with dire consequences.
This will not be the first look at the season. The initial teaser debuted at D23 in August, when Scobell took the stage with surprise guests Ming-Na Wen, who plays Hera, and Andra Day, who plays Athena. That footage previewed Percy’s relentless quest to find Annabeth and the rising tension with the Titans.
A few weeks earlier, a Comic-Con presentation revealed the opening minutes of the season, which begin with Thalia Grace battling a monster in a parking garage. Scobell has also said the season is the most book-accurate adaptation the team has made so far, and he teased to Deadline that it is the darkest yet.

The new season brings a stacked guest list. Holt McCallany plays Atlas, the main antagonist, and Dafne Keen is set as the goddess Artemis. Kate McKinnon appears as Aphrodite, Ming-Na Wen is Hera, David Costabile plays the villain Dr. Thorn and Jesse L. Martin joins as Annabeth’s father, Frederick Chase.
Levi Chrisopulos joins as Nico di Angelo, and Riordan has said the season brings the Hunters of Artemis and Hades’ lost children Nico and Bianca to the screen for the first time. Tamara Smart’s Thalia is expected to get a larger role as well. That ensemble gives the story the scale it needs for a winter-set adventure.
Behind the scenes, the creative team has stressed that the relationship at the center of the show is not going anywhere. Executive producer Jon Steinberg said that “the show orbits the relationship between Percy and Annabeth.” With Annabeth kidnapped, the stakes of that bond become the engine of the season.
The series was renewed for its third season in March 2025, ahead of the second season’s December premiere. Season 3 is expected to run for 8 episodes, arriving weekly on Fridays.
Season 3 premieres on November 20 on Disney+, which means the new trailer arrives less than 3 weeks before fans get to see the quest unfold. The first two seasons are already available to stream. Based on the current schedule, the finale would land on December 11.
For fans, the next trailer is the final chance to see what the season looks like before the premiere. If it leans into the dread and cold promised by the teaser art, it could be the clearest signal yet of how far the show is willing to go with its darkest book.
