Prime Video Just Launched a Streaming Bundle That Combines Five Major Services for One Price
Streaming fatigue has become one of the defining complaints of the past few years, with viewers juggling an ever-growing list of subscriptions just to keep up with the shows and movies they actually want to watch. Platforms have responded by leaning into bundling, hoping that combining services under one roof will ease some of that subscription overload.
Prime Video has quietly become one of the biggest players in that space, functioning less like a single streaming service and more like a marketplace where subscribers can add on other platforms through Prime Video Channels. Until now, most of those bundled offerings had been limited to pairing just two services together, with only a handful stretching to three.
That approach just took a major leap forward. Prime Video has officially launched its first-ever five-service streaming bundle in the United States, combining AMC+, BritBox, MGM+, PBS Masterpiece and STARZ into a single package priced at $29.99 per month, a savings of nearly 39 percent compared to subscribing to each service individually.
Ryan Pirozzi, head of Prime Video Channels in the U.S., framed the launch as a milestone for the platform’s subscriptions business, explaining that combining the five services gives customers access to “the premium entertainment they love, all in one place.” The bundle represents a notable step up in scale from Prime Video’s earlier two-service pairings like STARZ-BritBox or AMC+-MGM+, which had been priced well below the new offering’s broader combined value.
Each of the five services brings its own distinct library to the package. STARZ contributes titles from the ‘Outlander’ and ‘Power’ universes alongside films like ‘The Housemaid’ and ‘Michael,’ while AMC+ offers access to ‘The Walking Dead’ franchise and Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, along with older favorites like ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Doctor Who.’
BritBox and PBS Masterpiece round things out with a heavy focus on British programming, including titles such as ‘Downton Abbey,’ ‘Line of Duty,’ ‘Endeavour’ and ‘Grantchester,’ while MGM+ adds originals like ‘From’ and ‘The Westies’ alongside a deep catalog of classic films. STARZ Networks president Alison Hoffman and MGM+ global head Michael Wright both emphasized the curated nature of the bundle, positioning it as a destination built specifically for viewers who care about premium scripted storytelling rather than reality programming or unscripted fare.
The timing reflects a broader shift happening across the streaming industry, where services like YouTube TV have similarly leaned into slicing and packaging content into different price points to meet consumers where they are. For Prime Video specifically, the bundle builds on an already significant role as a subscription hub, with major platforms like HBO Max and Paramount Plus frequently sold through Prime as a meaningful driver of new subscribers.
Whether this larger, five-service format becomes the new normal for Prime Video’s bundling strategy remains to be seen, but the launch signals real ambition to expand beyond the two-service pairings that have defined the platform’s approach so far. If bigger services eventually sign on to similar packages, this could be just the beginning of a much larger shift in how people subscribe to streaming content altogether.
