When speaking of superhero movies, this year certainly had its ups and downs, and as we’re waiting to close this year with Marvel Studios ‘The Marvels’ and DC’s ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,’ we can already look forward to everything that next year is supposed to bring us, but only if the current release schedule remains intact, which we don’t believe it will.
According to the current schedule, 2024 will offer much more Marvel content since DC is set to release only one live-action movie, and Marvel is set to release six movies; three of them set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and three of them set in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.
The most anticipated movie of those six is arguably ‘Deadpool 3,’ which will bring the Merc with a Mouth back to the big screen after six years, as well as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine for the first time since 2017’s ‘Logan.’ Apart from these two main stars, the movie will also feature many other stars, and one of the newcomers may have just been revealed.
A new rumor suggests that the ‘Harry Potter’ star agreed to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
According to a known leaker, Daniel Richtman (DanielRPK, via Deadpool Updates), Daniel Radcliffe has been cast in ‘Deadpool 3’ for a secret role, and rumors circulating the internet are suggesting that he could play an alternate variant of the Wolverine since it’s known that ‘Deadpool 3’ will be a Multiverse movie.
While it would be interesting to see Radcliffe in a superhero movie, we’re still taking this rumor with a grain of salt, just like all of them. However, we can always expect some surprises from ‘Deadpool’ movies. Just remember that one-second cameo Brad Pitt made in ‘Deadpool 2.’ After that, what can surprise us anymore? Given the expectations of ‘Deadpool 3,’ we really should be ready for everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything.
Daniel Radcliffe rose to global fame at a very young age when he debuted as Harry Potter in ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,’ after which he reprised the role in seven sequels. The franchise concluded in 2011, and Radcliffe continued his successful career.
Another highlight of his career happened last year when he was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for his role in ‘Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,’ and he’s also known for starring in a comedy anthology series ‘Miracle Workers.’
Cast members that have been officially confirmed for ‘Deadpool 3’ so far are Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapičić, Rob Delaney, Brianna Hildebrand, Shioli Kutsuna, Jennifer Garner, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen.
Directed by Shawn Levy, ‘Deadpool 3’ is currently scheduled to be released on May 3, 2024.
