Second ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Trailer Leaks Online
A reported leak involving the upcoming Marvel film Spider-Man: Brand New Day has sparked discussion among fans online. According to posts circulating on social media, a second full trailer for the highly anticipated movie appeared online before its official release.
One of the accounts sharing the claim was Best Movies, which stated that a complete version of the trailer had surfaced without watermarks. While the footage quickly gained attention across social media platforms, neither Sony Pictures nor Marvel Studios had publicly commented on the alleged leak at the time of writing.
The reported trailer leak comes as excitement continues to build for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is set to be the next chapter in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man story within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film follows the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which ended with Doctor Strange casting a spell that erased Peter Parker’s identity from the memories of the entire world. As a result, Peter was left completely alone, with no friends, family, or allies remembering who he was.
The official premise reveals that several years have passed since those events. Peter now operates as Spider-Man anonymously while protecting New York City from crime. During his latest adventure, he finds himself investigating a powerful new threat while dealing with unexpected changes to his abilities.
The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, best known for directing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The screenplay was written by longtime Spider-Man collaborators Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who also worked on the previous MCU Spider-Man films.
Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker, while Zendaya is also set to appear. The cast includes Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.
One of the biggest talking points surrounding the film is the return of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher. Mark Ruffalo will also reprise his role as Bruce Banner, bringing another familiar Marvel character into Peter Parker’s newest adventure.
The title Brand New Day is inspired by the famous 2008 Marvel Comics storyline of the same name. In the comics, the story introduced a fresh start for Peter Parker after major events dramatically changed his life. While the film is not expected to be a direct adaptation, the title suggests a similar focus on Peter rebuilding his life from scratch.
Producers have previously explained that they wanted this movie to feature a more independent version of Spider-Man. Unlike previous films, Peter is now operating on his own and focusing on street-level crime in New York City rather than larger multiverse threats.
Production on the film took place between August and December 2025. Filming occurred across several locations in England, including Glasgow, Scotland, while studio work was completed at Pinewood Studios.
Whether the leaked footage is genuine or not, it has already generated significant buzz among Marvel fans eager for their next look at the movie. With anticipation continuing to grow, audiences will not have to wait much longer to see Spider-Man return to the big screen.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
