Luke Skywalker (Character)

Luke Skywalker is a fictional character that appears in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise of movies, shows, books, and other derivative media. He is the son of Darth Vader and twin brother of Princess Leia and becomes a key figure in the Rebel Alliance’s fight against the Galactic Empire. Luke undergoes Jedi training under Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda, later establishing a new Jedi Order. Despite his death in The Last Jedi, he returns as a Force spirit in The Rise of Skywalker to encourage Rey in her battle against Emperor Palpatine.
Ultimately, Rey adopts the Skywalker surname as Luke and Leia’s spirits bestow their blessing, carrying on their family’s legacy.
