Mister Terrific (Character)

Mister Terrific is the name of two heroes in DC Comics. The first one, Terry Sloane, was a rich man with a perfect memory and great athletic skills. He became a hero after saving a woman from suicide. He started a group called the “Fair Play Club” to help stop kids from getting into trouble and joined the Justice Society of America. He died in a story from 1979.

The second Mister Terrific is Michael Holt, who first appeared in 1997. He was inspired by Terry Sloane and is also very smart and skilled. Michael invented a special device called the T-Sphere that he controls with his mask and earpieces. He also joined the Justice Society of America and had his own comic book for a short time.

In the DC Universe movies, actor Edi Gathegi plays Michael Holt, the second Mister Terrific.
