Tom Holland Teases ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ in New Promo as Summer Movie Season Kicks Off

Summer movie season has officially started, and Marvel fans are already getting a fresh push for what’s coming next. A new promotional teaser has been released featuring Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” The video is meant to hype up the return of big-screen blockbusters ahead of the film’s release later this summer.

In the promo, Holland talks directly to audiences about the experience of going back to theaters. The teaser doesn’t include new footage from the movie itself and instead closes with a brief clip from the original trailer. Even so, it’s clearly designed to build anticipation for the next chapter in the Spider-Man story.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is set in a new phase of Peter Parker’s life. After the events of “No Way Home,” Peter is now living alone in New York, where no one remembers who he is. He continues working as Spider-Man full-time, trying to protect the city while dealing with the personal cost of his erased identity. The story picks up years later, showing a more isolated and tested version of the character as new threats begin to rise.

The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Rachel O’Connor. The cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo, along with Sadie Sink in a key role.

Even with limited new footage, the marketing push signals that “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is becoming one of the major upcoming releases in Marvel’s lineup. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, and is expected to continue building Peter Parker’s new chapter in the MCU.
