For months now we’ve been hearing how the upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is going to be the best thing to happen to the MCU in quite some time, following a series of flops.

Director Vaughn called the upcoming movie “MCU Savior,” while Deadpool creator himself called the movie the best comic book film of all time, with the best action since ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier.’

And while it’s going to be a few months until we really verify those claims, we are certainly busy following ‘X-Men ’97,’ another mutant-focused Marvel Studios project, a revival of the old ‘X-Men: The Animated Series’ which, so far, turned out to be a flawless hit with exceptionally high ratings.

‘X-Men ’97’ was written by Beau DeMayo, who was unfortunately fired for unknown reasons just a few days before Season 1 premiere, the show turned out to be such a hit among the fans that it was renewed for season 2, currently in production, and season 3 is currently being developed.

DeMayo enchanted the fans with his knowledge and understanding of X-Men source material, this is why some of the fans protested and demanded that he be reinstated as the writer. Not only that, he’s been suggested to pen down the story of the upcoming live-action X-Men reboot, currently in development at the House of the Mouse.

Since DeMayo himself is partially responsible for mutants being repolished and gaining sudden revitalized fame among the fans, he felt he needed to send a stern message to Ryan Reynolds, who is about to introduce fan-favorite mutant to the MCU.

Truly, with DeMayo being chased from the studio, all mutant hopes now rest on a single movie, and a single guy passionate enough to make this project right, Ryan Reynolds.

We hope that the Deadpool actor will take this message seriously, a lot rests on his shoulders. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
