‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Reveals First Look at Trisha Paytas’ Surprise Role

Trisha Paytas has shared a first look at her appearance in Euphoria Season 3 as she continues expanding her career into acting.

The internet personality and podcast host previously spoke to PEOPLE about joining the HBO series and said she is finally feeling confident stepping into acting roles.

Paytas first became famous online through YouTube videos, viral internet moments, music releases, and reality TV appearances. Over the years, she built a massive online following and later launched her podcast Just Trish. Now, she says acting has become a serious focus for her.

Talking about this new chapter in her career, Paytas told PEOPLE, “I think when I was younger, I would audition, and I know I had the talent back then, but I just did not have the confidence.”

She added, “I think now I’m getting the confidence. So, I’m lucky, and I’m really thankful, and I’ve just been enjoying life.”

Details about her Euphoria character are still being kept secret. Paytas did not reveal who she is playing or how large the role will be, but she admitted she is being careful about what she says publicly because she hopes it leads to more acting opportunities in the future.

She explained, “I did not sign an NDA, but I’m not saying too much because I want to get cast in more things.”

Even with the secrecy, Paytas described filming the HBO series as a huge moment for her personally. She said working on set earlier this year felt surreal.

“It was the coolest experience ever,” she said. “I feel like such an actress.”

Paytas also praised Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, who directed her scenes. According to her, the two spent time talking about his previous HBO project The Idol while filming.

She said, “Sam Levinson was directing, and he was super cool because I love The Idol, and we talked so much off-camera about that.”
